Frequently Asked Questions — Bulk Proxy Checker

What proxy formats are supported?+

The tool supports: ip:port, ip:port:username:password, socks5://ip:port, socks4://ip:port, http://ip:port, https://ip:port. It auto-detects the protocol from the prefix, or defaults to HTTP if no prefix is given.

How does the proxy check work?+

The checker performs a TCP connection test to each proxy's IP and port. A successful TCP handshake within the timeout period means the proxy port is open (Live). This is the fastest method and works for all proxy types without requiring authentication.

What does "latency" mean?+

Latency is the time in milliseconds (ms) it takes to establish a TCP connection to the proxy server. Lower is better: under 300ms is excellent, 300–800ms is acceptable, over 1000ms is slow.

Is there a limit on how many proxies I can check?+

The tool processes up to 100 proxies per batch. Simply run multiple batches for larger lists.
