Frequently Asked Questions — Watch Size Advisor
What watch size for a 16cm wrist?+
A 16cm wrist is considered average. The ideal watch case size is 38–42mm. Apple Watch 41mm or Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36–41mm fit well. Avoid case sizes over 44mm as they may look oversized.
Is a 42mm watch too big?+
It depends on your wrist circumference. For 17–19cm wrists, 42–44mm is perfectly proportional. For wrists under 16cm, 42mm may appear large. Use the visualizer to see the actual size on screen.
What is lug-to-lug and why does it matter?+
Lug-to-lug (L2L) is the distance from one lug end to the other. It is typically 15–20% longer than the case diameter. If L2L exceeds your wrist width, the watch will overhang — looking unbalanced.
